    Stacked NJ Football Schedule for Week 0 with Battle at the Beach as Headliner

    Welcome back to the NJ high school football team. We’ve missed you.

    The Garden State is back on the field and the schedule for Week 0 is fully booked, starting with the Battle at the Beach, a three-day showcase in two locations.

    Thursday sees four games at Carey Stadium in Ocean City, kicked off by a clash between two national powerhouses in Bergen Catholic and IMG Academy (FL). Both teams are ranked in the High School Football America Top 10. Friday and Saturday sees five games per team in Egg Harbor, with conference crossover games on both days.

    Some other notable Battle at the Beach competitions include:

    • Mainland vs. Atlantic City (Aug. 29)
    • Montclair vs. Winslow (August 30)
    • Millville vs. Holy Ghost (Aug. 30)
    • Northern Highlands vs. Washington Township (August 30)
    • Middletown South vs. Cherokee (August 30)
    • Pascack Valley vs. Rancocas Valley (August 31)

    That’s not all.

    On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, some of the state’s other top programs will compete across New Jersey, including Delbarton, DePaul, Paramus Catholic, Pope John, St. Joseph (Mont.), St. Peter’s Prep, Seton Hall Prep and many more.

    Don Bosco Prep heads to the Buckeye State on Friday, where it will face national powerhouse Archbishop Hoban (OH).
