Starbucks is adding 7 new drinks and foods for the holidays

Coffee company Starbucks has officially brought its holiday offerings back to the menu starting November 7, accompanied by a handful of new drinks and food items for the season.

Classic favorites like peppermint mocha and sugar cookie lattes make a return.

Starbucks is also widely integrating cranberry and orange this year with three flavors of its first-ever Starbucks Refresher for the holidays. These include the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher, Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher and Cran-Merry Drink.

A gingerbread cream cold foam to complement a cold brew or iced coffee is another newcomer for 2024.

Three new food options have been added this year. A turkey sage Danish, dark fudge bundt and penguin cookie join returners like the Snow Man Cake Pop, Sugar Plum Cheese Danish and cranberry Bliss Bar.

Another reason to cheer: Starbucks will no longer charge extra for non-dairy milk starting November 7. It has long been a higher price to choose oat milk, almond milk, soy milk and coconut milk. The change will result in cost savings for customers of approximately 10%.

Starbucks recently made headlines after a CEO change. The company’s new leader, Brian Niccol, previously led Plano-based Pizza Hut. In addition to seeking 200,000 sharpies to bring back Starbucks’ tradition of writing on cups and lowering costs for non-dairy milk, Niccol has his work cut out for him as the coffee giant faces a sales slump.
