The LA Clippers play their second game of a four-game homestand on Monday night when the Golden State Warriors come to town. Last time, the Clippers snapped their second three-game losing streak of the season when they swept the Utah Jazz at Intuit Dome on Sunday night.

Just 24 hours later, getting ready to take on the Western Conference-leading Warriors is no small task. Golden State has utterly dominated to start this season, with a 10-2 record, and it appears Stephen Curry’s championship days aren’t over just yet.

The first of the Warriors’ two losses so far in the 2024-2025 season? Back to the Clippers on October 27, and still Golden State’s only loss on their home court at Chase Center this year. While it’s nice that the Clippers can feel confident going into this game that they can actually beat this team, they should also know that doing it twice will be far from easy.

One of the biggest determining factors in this will obviously be the availability of Stephen Curry. The Warriors point guard is currently listed as questionable for Monday night’s action due to left knee bursitis. Curry attended the shootaround Monday morning, taking photos and walking up the steep stairs of The Wall at Intuit Dome.

Having Steph in the starting lineup will undoubtedly be Golden State’s best chance to win, but it’s worth noting that the Warriors went 3-0 in the only three-game stretch Curry has missed so far this season. This is a formidable team, with or without the best shooter ever on the floor.

Kawhi Leonard (knee) was out again for the Clippers on Monday. He still reportedly hasn’t practiced with the team this season and there have been no further updates on when he might return to action.

PJ Tucker (not with team) is also out against the Warriors. Tucker will remain out indefinitely, while he and the team have mutually agreed to find him a trade partner so he can play elsewhere this season.

Mo Bamba (knee) is questionable for Monday after making his season debut against the Jazz on Sunday. Bamba recorded nine points and eight rebounds in 15 minutes of action against Utah, and can now sit out the second night of a back-to-back.

De’Anthony Melton (ACL), Kevon Looney (illness) and Reece Beekman (G League assignment) are all out for the Warriors.

Curry (knee) and Lindy Waters III (knee) are both questionable to play Monday.
