The story of a Texas woman who died because doctors were too afraid to violate an abortion ban to provide her with treatment for a miscarriage is the latest in a series of heartbreaking examples of how misguided abortion bans have been carried out by activist politicians, who are unaware are of the complications of reproductive biology. Each new story sparks a new level of anger and outrage among American women who see their rights being taken away at the expense of their health care.
