Sunday night storms will bring extra rain to the green country

Severe storms moved through Northeastern Oklahoma on Sunday evening and the chance of severe weather increases again on Monday afternoon.

The Tulsa County area saw rain and some storms, and after all the rain over the past 24 hours following an extended drought, flooding was a major concern. That storm system should dissipate by midnight, giving a brief respite before a third round of rain is forecast to occur on Monday afternoon. Another concern is power outages, with several areas in the state reporting downed lines.
