Taylor Swift has extended her nominations for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. All four albums the musician has released since Folklore have been recognized in the coveted category, including her latest work The department of tortured poets. The nod marks Swift’s seventh Album of the Year nomination, the most of any woman in the history of the Grammy Awards, breaking her tie with Barbra Streisand.

The album also scored a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, a category in which Swift has consistently been nominated for almost every album she’s released since transitioning to pop. 1989with the exception of Always. Only two albums from that period, Reputation And Loverwere also not nominated Album of the year.

Of her seven nominations, Swift has taken home four Album of the Year trophies in her career. The first was for Fearlessmaking her the youngest artist to win in the category at the age of 20. She held the record for ten years before being surpassed by 18-year-old Billie Eilish in 2020. Swift won again in 2016 with 1989earned another in 2021 Folkloreand was awarded for the fourth time for Midnights at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Swift’s fourth win for Album of the Year made her the artist with the most career wins in the category. She surpassed three-time winners Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.

This year, Swift also earned nominations for Record and Song of the Year for “Fortnight” with Post Malone. The collaboration also earns an award for Best Music Video, marking the singer and songwriter’s second solo nomination in the director category. She first won for “All Too Well: the Short Film” in 2023. Swift will make her first appearance as a featured artist in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her performance in the Gracie Abrams song “Us.”

With the six nominations Swift has earned ahead of the 2025 Grammy Awards, the total number of nominations in her career has been increased to 58 nods, including her 14 wins.
