Taylor Swift references past eras during date night with Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are making the most of their time together during Kelce’s week away from football.

After heading to New York City for a star-studded double date on Friday night, the couple ventured out for dinner at Torrisi restaurant on Saturday evening. They arrived hand in hand, and once again Swift left quite the impression with her appearance.

BACKGROUND

For their second date of the weekend, the “Fortnight” singer opted for a chartreuse, crushed velvet set from Annie’s Ibiza. Her ensemble consisted of a fitted corset top and a matching pleated miniskirt, proving she’s even sartorially Kelce’s biggest cheerleader.

The corset look was right in line with Swift’s current style, although it did contain some Easter eggs that one of her eras could follow. The musician has previously worn Annie’s Ibiza, donning a navy blue sequin mini dress during her performance Midnights —and it’s worth noting that the official name of her set is “Ivy,” which refers to Swift’s Always song of the same name. If you know the artist, every movement is intentional, but it is unclear what they are hinting at.

Her accessories provided more clues (and more confusion about what they were referring to). Swift elevated her outfit with a pair of sky-high Aevitas Platform mules from Versace, which featured gold charms to match her velvet set. Over her shoulder she carried a Mirror Snake bag by Roberto Cavalli, perhaps nodding to her Reputation era – while a gold choker, gold T-bar chain and dangling gold earrings added some sparkle to her ensemble.

Swift wore her hair in effortless waves and swept her bangs to one side. Of course, she finished her look with her signature red lip and winged eyeliner. She held Kelce as they entered the restaurant, and he himself looked dapper in a knitted blue Marni polo and khaki cargo pants. We wonder what era he’s in…
