Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis was injured during the ‘Monday Night Football’ game against the Dolphins

Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Will Levis did not come out for his team’s third drive, in Miami, on Monday after an apparent injury to his throwing shoulder.

Levis appeared to be hurt after diving for yardage while scrambling on Tennessee’s second drive. Levis was seen on the “Monday Night Football” broadcast grimacing as he threw on the Tennessee sideline midway through the opening quarter, and when the Titans took over with 4:14 to play, his backup, Mason, replaced Rudolph, him as starter.

Levis had thrown an interception earlier in the game while completing three of his four passes.

Rudolph’s entrance turned the game into one led by backup quarterbacks. Tyler Huntley earned his 10th career start in place of Tua Tagovailoa, who was sidelined with a head injury. Huntley committed a turnover when his backward pass was dropped, leading to a fumble recovered by the Titans.

Rudolph has led his team to a pair of field goals and the Titans are up 6-3.
