Terence Crawford didn’t hesitate to deliver his latest Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul verdict

Terence Crawford has had his say on the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul showdown.

Tyson faces Paul on Friday, November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and will be broadcast live on streaming service Netflix.

Many boxing figures have given their opinions on the controversial bout, and pound-for-pound king Crawford has revealed his stance.

It started when Crawford was asked by Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour if he wanted to watch the fight.

“No. I don’t.”

He then explained why he isn’t looking forward to the upcoming fight.

“I think Mike Tyson is an icon in boxing. He himself has done a lot for boxing. And I just think Mike is past his prime.

‘Mike is old. I wouldn’t want Mike to get in the ring and get hurt in a fight where he’s just doing it for the money or for entertainment. I think his health problems are another reason why I don’t want to see him in the ring anymore.”

Crawford’s opinion could well be proven correct, especially after the fight was postponed from its original date in July due to Tyson developing an ulcer following a medical incident during a flight.

However, ‘Iron Mike’ has done his best to prove the doubters wrong, with recent training footage showing him dropping a sparring partner and busting his coach’s lip.

Another man who has offered his latest thoughts on the Tyson vs. Paul fight is Oscar De La Hoya, and he has made a challenging prediction.
