Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins suffered an injury toward the end of the first quarter against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. The star wide receiver left the game and went to the locker room.

Collins is off to an excellent start to the 2024 season and his absence will result in a significant loss for the Texans’ high-flying offense.

Here’s the latest on the Texans wideout’s status:

The Texans have announced that Collins will be out for the remainder of the game against Buffalo. He finished his day with 2 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Nico Collins left the game at the end of the first quarter with a hamstring injury while Houston led 14–3.

Collins hauled in a 67-yard touchdown catch from C.J. Stroud and appeared to be slowing down on his way to the end zone.

The Texans have two talented wideouts in the lineup behind Collins. Veteran Stefon Diggs and sophomore Tank Dell are asked to take a step further. Robert Woods should be the next man up for the Texans wide receivers off the bench.
