Hansal Mehta movie The Buckingham Murdersstarring Kareena Kapoor Khan, premiered on Netflix on November 8. But one user on Hindi dubbing in the film and called it “bad”.
The Buckingham Murders, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, finally released on Netflix on November 8, 2024. The X user trolled the movie because of his bad Hindi duband Hansal Mehta responded with an apology that the original language version will be released on the platform soon.

The film was initially released in both dubbed and partially dubbed versions, including one Hinglish version in which 80 percent of the dialogues were in English and 20 percent in Hindi, besides a fully dubbed version in Hindi. Currently, the OTT platform is only available as a dubbed Hindi film.

The user on us not seeing the original version? When you see how all the British speak Hindi, it sounds so artificial.”

Hansal Mehta replied, “Due to a technical glitch on the service, @NetflixIndia will upload the original language version in a few hours. Thanks for your patience. And yes, it can be quite annoying to watch a dubbed version of the movie. Apologies .”

Another X user @Sethumadhavan wrote soon after the film went live Netflix India“Hi @mehtahansal, why doesn’t @NetflixIndia have the Hingliah version of #TheBuckinghamMurders? When you see how all the British speak Hindi, it sounds so artificial… sigh!”
While another user wrote, “What is the original audio? Audio options for me, there is Hindi, Portuguese and Spanish. I was eagerly waiting for this movie. Let it happen soon Hansal ji…”
The Buckingham Murders was first released in two versions: a Hindi version and the English version.
In this film, Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the lead role of Jasmeet Bhamra, a British-Indian detective, who is assigned to the murder case involving a 10-year-old boy.
Kareena, along with Shobha and Ekta Kapoor, also made her debut as a producer for the film. The Buckingham Murders premiered at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023. The film was released theatrically on September 13, 2024.
The film stars Keith Allen, Ranveer Brar, Sarah Jane Dias, Prabhleen Sandhu and Sanjeev Mehra.
