Zach Bryan announced on Tuesday that he is back on the market, and it apparently wasn’t well received by his ex, Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry.

Hours after Bryan shared the news on his Instagram, Chickenfry shared an emotional video on YouTube discussing the issue.

“Hey guys, I’m wearing my crazy lady coat, on the bathroom floor,” she said in the video where she was indeed sitting on her bathroom floor. “Something about a bathroom floor gives me a lot of comfort, so I’ve been sitting on a lot of bathroom floors over the past few days. But yeah, I’m probably not going to post this for a while, but I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we had broken up, and I had no idea that message would show up.

“He didn’t text me,” she continued. ‘He didn’t call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts like, “Are you okay?” And I thought, ‘Did my father die?’ Yeah, so I’m completely blindsided by that.

Chickenfry pointed to her face and said it was swollen.

“I’ve been crying for five days straight,” she continued. “And sorry if this video is going to be a lot of back and forth, but I’m at the point where it’s like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally through things you shouldn’t do because you just love them and you see the good in them. How can you… this is so embarrassing. I don’t give a (expletive). How can you give every ounce to someone and have it thrown away in a few days?

She called it “really, really heartbreaking.”

“And I don’t want to talk about details right now,” she continued. “I don’t want to talk about it yet. Obviously I will, but right now I want to heal privately and I didn’t even know he was going to post that. We broke up yesterday. I wasn’t ready to do anything publicly.”

She said she wanted to tackle the breakup “as a person first.”

“And it’s not anymore,” she continued. “So I’m just asking that you respect my privacy right now, and when I’m ready to talk about everything, I will. But right now I’m just completely blindsided.”

Chickenfry said she is “doing well.”

“I’m obviously very hurt right now,” she continued. “And I just wanted to be injured and in bed for a week. I just didn’t want it to become public. I just feel blindsided. I love you very much.”

Bryan shared the news in a post to his Instagram stories on Tuesday.

“Addressing something: Brianna and I broke up and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” he wrote. “She has loved me unconditionally for a long time and I will always thank her for that.

“I personally have had an incredibly difficult year and have struggled through some pretty serious things,” Bryan continued. “I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if it is in your heart, mine as well. With everything I am and everyone I’ve let down, I’m sorry. I do my best in everything. I have failed people who love me, especially myself.”

The couple recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, according to Smaak van Land. The site said fans believed the move would come after finding Bryan on a celebrity dating app called Raya earlier this week.
