The Halo Effect are now sharing a music video for the title track of their second album, “March of the Unheard“. The Swedish melodic death metallers, whose family tree includes numerous former members of In flames and more, will release that record on January 10th.

The newly debuted music video for this song was co-directed by Theo Gabay & Morgan Jensen. Guitarist Niclas Engelin noted:

“This song is based on the melody theme for the intro to all of our ninety-six shows. I just had the idea to start the whole album with this theme and build an entire song around it. Mikael took the entire song to another level with its lyrics, which illuminate our society’s need to hear the voices of the unheard – the powerless.

We all love melancholic melodies in an up-tempo beat, and add some harmonies and we get a beautiful Halo song. Working with the mighty Gothenburg Marching band “Göta Lejon” has amazed us both in the studio and live. Damn, they’re powerful!!
