THE PENGUIN Finale Featurette Breaks Down Oz and Vic’s Final Scene as Official Look at (SPOILER) Reveals

After last night’s shocking and often moving season finale The penguinMax has released a new featurette in which he delves deeper into “A Great or Little Thing” (You can read our full spoiler summary here).

As you might expect, Oz Cobb’s decision to kill Victor “Vic” Aguilar in cold blood is a major talking point. The teen has seen Oz at his most vulnerable and the villain decides that staying around will make him weak; He then cruelly strangles Vic, despite the fact that he would not have reached the top of Gotham City’s underworld without his help.

‘By the end of the show, Victor has seen Oz at his most vulnerable’ showrunner Lauren LeFranc explains in the video below. “Those two guys have been through everything together. Someone who sees his vulnerability feels like a weakness and according to Oz, he cannot achieve what he thinks he should achieve if he has those weaknesses around him.”

She adds: “That moment when he kills Victor is him killing his own heart and becoming the monster… I knew the goal of the series towards the end was to rise to the top or get closer to that goal, but if he has attained power, so is he.” also lost a lot of himself.”

Rhenzy Feliz, who plays Vic, says: “That he was betrayed by the person he now considers family, after we finally did this. We got to the top of the game. When I read the scripts, I thought, ‘Wow, this guy is worse than we thought. ‘ .'”

Colin Farrell warned us that we would no longer like Oz The penguin ends and, well, he wasn’t kidding. For producer Matt Reeves, “The fact (Oz) goes to such extremes because he is so broken, that is the tragedy of the story.”

While Batman doesn’t show up The penguinthe finale ends with the camera panning outside Oz’s new penthouse apartment, where the Bat-Signal shines over the Gotham City skyline.

The implication is that it will be Batman who puts an end to the villain’s machinations, which hopefully means the gangster doesn’t get away with what we saw from him here. In other interviews after the finale, Farrell has confirmed he will appear The Batman Part II And The Batman Part IIIso it feels very much like the stage is being set for him to become the Caped Crusader’s final obstacle in ridding Gotham of crime and corruption.

You can see an official look at that chilling moment at the end of this featurette or in the X-post below.
