So, the pennant-winning Yankees guys of the American League, eh?

Yes… yes. The Yankees are now in an 0-3 hole and staring at the possibility of a sweep after another terrible loss last night. We’ve literally reached win-or-go-home now, so… tune in tonight. Or read a book. Or watch a movie. Follow your heart.

It’s a pretty easy day on the site today. Dave will get creative for his Yankees Player of the Game for World Series Game 3, and Peter will delve into his reflections on the affair for some additional points he didn’t go into as much in the recap. Later, Sam will preview the Game 4 matchup, which will pit rookie Luis Gil against the Dodgers’ version of Johnny Wholestaff (a bullpen game). I’ll post the lineups and then it’ll be time to see if the Yankees are in the mood for baseball tomorrow night or not.
