ForbesToday’s NYT ‘Connections’ Hints and Answers for Sunday, October 27 (#504)

Hey, everyone! I hope you have one murderer weekend (you know, because it’s almost Halloween). I had a relaxing conversation with my partner, thanks for asking. You’re going to have a great week, I’m sure.

Today NYT Connections hints and answers for monday october 28th are coming soon.

Play connections

Connections is a free, popular New York Times daily word game. Every day you get a new puzzle at midnight. You can play on the NYT website or Games app.

You will be shown a grid of 16 words. Your job is to divide them into four groups of four by discovering the connections between them. The groups can be things like clickable items, names for study participants, or words preceded by a body part.

There is only one solution to each puzzle, and you have to be careful when it comes to words that fit into more than one category. You can play the words in any order so you might see the connections between them.

Each group has a color code. The yellow group is usually the easiest to figure out, blue and green fall in the middle, and the purple group is usually the most difficult. The purple group often uses puns.

Select four words that you think go together and press Send. If you make a guess and you’re wrong, you lose a life. When you’re close to the right group, you might see a message saying you’re just one word away from the right group, but you still need to figure out which one to swap.

If you make four mistakes, the game is over. Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen with some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today’s information Connections answers. As with Word and other similar games, it’s easy to share results with your friends on social media and group chats.

If you have a NYT All Access or Games subscription, you can access the Connections archive. This includes every previous game of Connectionsso you can go back and play the games you missed.

Apart from the first 60 or so games, you should be able to find my hints for each grid via Google if you need them! Just click here and add the date of the game for which you need clues or the answers to the search query.

It’s nice to get back to winning ways with a perfect game. Here’s how I fared:

I immediately noticed that there was a group of magic or magic-related words: ABRACADABRA doesn’t have a million meanings. But just before I guessed SPELL, ABRACADABRA, PRESTO and SHAZAM, I realized that this last word had to match the yellow letters.

Seeing HAVE, HOLD, and CHERISH side by side after the grid was rearranged made it easy to spot the blues (I’ve heard those vows at a few weddings). The greens were next, leaving the purples – who had two different but also very important magic words than I initially expected – to take the win.

That’s all it takes for today Connections clues and answers. Make sure to visit my blog for tips and the solution to Tuesday’s game if you need it.

PS This might be my favorite horror movie. Let the right one in is a Swedish coming-of-age romantic vampire film. It’s beautiful and brutal without being exaggerated bloody, and it has a sensational climax.

I thought the American remake, Let me inwas okay, but it can’t match the original. I have yet to watch the TV adaptation though.

I offer a trailer as usual, but I don’t recommend watching it. Go into the movie cold, if you’re interested. Be sure not to read the description of the trailer, because it is full of spoilers:
