TGIF! The weekend is almost here and so is my weekly assignment for these mini crossword guides. This will be my last mini crossword guide until two weeks from Saturday when I take the baton back. It’s looking like another lovely fall weekend, so I hope to enjoy that extra time to walk and do some housework and gardening. Fun times! Let’s solve this crossword for now!

Spoilers ahead, of course. Continue for the image of today’s solved puzzle.

I don’t think my head was in the right place when I started this mini crossword, which explains why it took me 3:01 to complete it. Ouch. I just wasn’t putting two and two together, distracted by life and all that jazz. I started with the correct 1-Across – ROSE – despite knowing absolutely nothing about “The Bachelorette” and that helped. But others, like COUPS, have rejected me because of the plural. Sometimes my brain doesn’t immediately go to the plural. In any case, difficult enough for a Friday evening! How did you do it? Let me know TweetInstagram or Facebook.

If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that too. You can find these and all my TV guides, reviews and more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
