Winter storm from coast to coast is bringing heavy snow and causing chaos to Thanksgiving holiday travel

The 2024 Atlantic hurricane season featured an unusual pattern of storm development, but despite the damage, seasonal activity was lower than what forecasters thought would happen.

Storm Bert leaves at least four deaths in Britain due to flooding, heavy rain and strong winds

More flooding may be on the way in Britain after Storm Bert caused major travel delays on Monday. According to the FOX Forecast Center, a small and fast-moving storm will bring more rain to England and Wales from Tuesday evening through Wednesday.

That’s after Storm Bert brought wind, flooding, ice and snow last weekend. At least four deaths are attributed to the storm, according to reports.

Storm Bert made for a bumpy ride as National Police Air Service (NPAS) pilots flew over London. Images from NPAS London show the conditions in the sky on Sunday evening.

“For those who asked us what it’s like to fly in this wind,” the caption read.

According to the Met Office, Bert brought winds of up to 120km/h and rainfall accumulations of up to 130mm this weekend.
