TOMMY Fury’s messaging scandal has taken a surprising turn. The girl who accused him of sending ‘flirty DMs’ claims she was catfished.

On Thursday, TikTokker Kay Keogh claimed that Tommy’s boyfriend asked for her Instagram name during a night out before the boxer messaged her.

She then shared screenshots showing Tommy’s alleged messages to Kay.

But she has since returned to the social media platform and revealed that she was scammed by a fake account posing as Tommy.

In the video, Kay confessed: “I was clearly catfished.

“Someone actually called me, because another fake account messaged me and they literally said to me, ‘Did you really think it was him? It was me.’

The influencer then explained the misunderstanding and how she was misled into thinking she had met Tommy on a night out.

“And of course people will say, ‘But you said you saw him?’ but like I said, I was already very confused,” she continued.

“And it was also really weird that I was just in Manchester and we had gone to a private event. There was a group of guys there and one of them could have impersonated him.”

She continued: “Like I said, I still don’t know what he really looks like.

“I know he has brown hair and is very muscular.

“But yeah, this person messaged me and told me he was trolling me.”

She added that she was surprised that people can now “buy verifications and change their names” on social media.

The Sun has contacted Tommy’s representative for comment.

Earlier this week, Kay posted a video saying Tommy had sent a message on social media.

She told her fans: “I’ve been debating whether or not to make this video, but I’m going to do it anyway.

“Me and my friends were in Manchester and one night we met him (Tommy).

“We were actually out with a group of guys and I didn’t really have a clue who he really was.

“One of the guys asked for my Instagram account, and I gave it to him.

“We were all together, but when I looked at my phone and saw his name pop up, I realized who he was.

“When I saw his name pop up, I was like, ‘What the hell is this?’

“Then of course I realized who he was, but I literally have DMs and I don’t know if I should send them or not.”

In a second video, Kay added: “This is part two of the Tommy situation. My girlfriend was there so she’s going to explain what happened too.”

Her friend then said: “I’m not from the UK so I didn’t recognise him until we looked at the DMs and saw we were clearly on his page.”

On the screen below Tommy’s Instagram name, a fire emoji can be seen and Kay responded: “??”

A second message read: “Are you in Manchester?”, accompanied by a big eyes emoji.

Some details have been removed from the screenshot, including the date and time of the alleged messages.

Molly-Mae dumped Tommy after his holiday in North Macedonia earlier this month, a year after they got engaged.

Sources told The Sun that Molly-Mae is bracing herself for more women to join the cast.

They said: “Molly-Mae now knows that Tommy has been unfaithful to her. She believes it happened multiple times.

“It seems like he played the game when he knew people wouldn’t recognize him.”
