Trump 2028: If the ex-president loses, most Republicans support one more chance: poll

Most of Donald Trump’s supporters want him to run again if he loses the presidential election, an exclusive poll suggests Newsweek has found.

The survey, conducted by independent polling firm Redfield & Wilton Strategies, found that 51 percent of Trump voters believe he should run again in 2028 if he loses to Kamala Harris, and 38 percent believe this should not happen .

The question was asked of Trump voters who said they have already voted for him in the 2024 election or plan to do so. It raises the possibility that Trump will be in a strong position to run again if he loses the election.
