In a Michigan-specific poll of 502 registered Muslim voters, Stein received 59 percent support, followed by Trump with 22 percent, and Harris with just under 14 percent of the vote. The results show significant opposition to the Biden administration handling of Israel’s brutal war in Gaza, which has killed at least 43,508 Palestinians, including more than 16,765 children, and how the Harris campaign has chosen to address the issue.

“Our latest exit poll among American Muslim voters confirms that opposition to the Biden administration’s support for the war on Gaza played a critical role,” Robert S. McCaw, director of CAIR National Government Affairs, said in a statement. The poll was conducted by Molitico Consulting LLC via text messages, with a margin error of 2.47 percent.

CAIR’s exit poll from 2020 was less comprehensive, surveying only 844 registered Muslim voters, but 69 percent of respondents said they voted for Joe Biden, while 17 percent chose Trump, showing a major decline this election. Another 2020 poll estimated that even more Muslims supported Biden, as many as 86 percent.
