President Donald Trump’s newly elected “border czar,” Tom Homan, addressed his upcoming deportation plan and addressed state leaders who have objected to sweeping immigration policies.

“I’ve seen countless governors from sanctuary states today say they’re going to get in the way. They better get out of the way. Either help us or get the hell out of our way, because ICE is going to do their job. job,” he warned, referring to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where he previously served as director.

“I’m going to double the workforce in that sanctuary city. We’re going to do our job despite the politics. We’re doing it. So get used to it, because we’re coming,” Homan said.

When asked if he plans to deport U.S. citizens, Homan said, “President Trump has made it clear that we will prioritize threats to public safety and threats to national security first, and that is how the focus would be .”
