“Selling pressure has been building at this level since early August. Bitcoin, which is up 3.2% YTD and around 4.5% in 24 hours, has come close to testing its 50-day moving average again, trading just below $61K,” Alex Kuptsikevich, senior market analyst at FxPro, told CoinDesk in an email.
