Trump spoke at the political rally in Las Vegas for the AAPI community

Former President Donald Trump spoke in Las Vegas on Thursday as part of the Republican nominee’s final sprint before voters in court, less than two weeks before Election Day.

Trump appeared as a special guest speaker at the “United for Change” meeting at Thomas & Mack Center, organized by Turning Point PAC and Turning Point Action.

“United for Change” is described as a free event intended to celebrate the Asian American and Pacific Islander community and encourage community involvement.

Trump discussed several topics he wanted to put into practice if elected.

He again stated that he did not want taxes on tips, overtime and social security benefits.

Illegal immigration, cutting energy bills in half and opening up parts of federal lands to build more affordable housing were also discussed.

Former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard were among the guests.

Doors open at 1:00 PM. Pre-programming begins at 4:00 PM and remarks begin at 7:00 PM. The event was first come, first served and registration was required.

If you miss this event, Trump will be back in Las Vegas on October 31 at Lee’s Family Forum.

Nevada, a key battleground state, has drawn a flood of visits from presidential candidates and their surrogates in recent days. On Wednesday, Trump’s running mate JD Vance spoke at campaign rallies in Las Vegas and Reno.

Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Bill Clinton and First Lady Jill Biden also spoke to supporters.

Vice presidential candidate Tim Walz is expected to visit Las Vegas for campaign events on Sunday, October 27, according to the Harris campaign.
