The era of the 12-team college football playoffs is here, and the first games of the 2024 season have provided plenty of intriguing storylines and developments to digest. But Saturday’s schedule, featuring 75 games in Week 2 featuring at least one FBS team, will offer a little bit of everything as what happens on the field begins to outweigh the speculation of the preseason polls.

There’s a top-10 showdown between No. 3 Texas and No. 9 Michigan in the noon (ET) television window, and then a top-25 showdown between No. 12 Tennessee and No. 23 North Carolina State in prime time Saturday night. There are conference games in the Big Ten, SEC, ACC and Big 12, plus regional non-conference rivalry games (Iowa State vs. No. 21 Iowa, Colorado vs. Nebraska). There’s even a high-profile Group of Five conference playoff contender (Boise State) getting a chance for a big win against one of the Big Ten’s newest additions (No. 6 Oregon) to close out the weekend.

We’ve already seen some unexpected results in Week 1, and this week looks set to bring even more opportunities for surprises as college football re-establishes itself in the first month of its inaugural season with a 12-team playoff slate.

Below is the full schedule for Saturday in Week 2 of the 2024 American football season, including game times and how to watch:
