TV Tonight: Colin Farrell is the Penguin in a sinister Batman spin-off | Television

The Penguin

9pm, Sky Atlantic
Another trip to Gotham, this time in the company of the Penguin – one of the most fascinating villains in the Batman universe, and here played by a prosthetics-laden Colin Farrell. It’s a moody, sinister affair – following the death of a mob boss, the Penguin attempts to infiltrate his family. Farrell’s Penguin is ruthless, but there’s also a certain subdued warmth, as evidenced by his decision to take stuttering street thug Victor (the excellent Rhenzy Feliz) under his wing.
