In an initiative to deepen bilateral ties between India and Germany, TV9 Network announced the launch of its first-ever international conference, the News9 Global Summit, in Stuttgart, Germany, from November 21 to 23, 2024.

The summit, themed ‘India-Germany: A roadmap to sustainable growth’, is co-organized by Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and supported by the state of Baden-Württemberg.

The News9 Global Summit will bring together key figures from India and Germany from politics, business, civil society, sports and entertainment at Stuttgart’s iconic football stadium, the MHP Arena, for three days of transformative discussions and dialogues.

The highlight of the Summit will be the Keynote address by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who has graciously agreed to hold the conference virtually, underscoring India’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships, especially with India’s largest economy Europe.

Two senior ministers: Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Railways and MeITY; and Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister for Communications and Development, North-Eastern Region, will personally attend the summit. Winfried Kretschmann, Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg, will also attend the summit.

The summit will facilitate dialogue on key issues, from sustainability and technology to global trade, and provide participants with insights into how India and Germany can jointly address pressing global challenges while exploring opportunities for mutual growth and investment.

As we expand our flagship thought leadership platform ‘What India Thinks Today’ globally under our UK brand News9, we foster a platform where two dynamic countries can jointly explore and influence a sustainable future,” said: Barun Das, MD and CEO of TV9 Network. “So Germany is just the first country. Next year we will take the summit to other important countries.”
