Steve Le, a 24-year-old resident of Methuen, Massachusetts, and Leslie Lynn, 58, of Roanoke, Virginia, have been identified as the victims of the crash, which remains under investigation by state police.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2023 Toyota Camry driven by Le was traveling north when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median into oncoming traffic and struck a 2019 Ford Econoline driven by Lynn, the release said. state police. Responding troopers have not yet determined what caused Le to drive into the southbound lanes.

“As a result of the collision, the 2019 Econoline crossed the median from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes before coming to a stop at the woods line,” state police announced in a news release.

Le and Lynn were both pronounced dead at the scene. Another person in the Ford Econoline was taken to an undisclosed nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries, according to state police.
