It took a round for Ruffy to warm up to the fight, as Llontop happily came out to fight and the Brazilian came out of the chute a little hesitantly. But after staggering the Peruvian rookie in the first, Ruffy dropped Llontop with a glancing left hand and hurt him again in the second, before fatigue began to set in in the final five minutes, allowing Llontop to have more success books.

This wasn’t the most anticipated encore after Ruffy’s dynamic debut at UFC 301, but it’s a solid win nonetheless. Credit to Llontop for staying steadfast and fighting until the final bell, but at the end of the day the Fighting Nerds once again came out on top.
