Louisville volleyball plays its final home game tonight against #1 seed Pittsburgh.

The third-place Cardinals lost in five sets to the Panthers in their first match of the season on October 25.

U of L (25-3, 17-1 ACC) can earn at least a share of the ACC title with a win against Stanford tonight and Saturday.

Louisville leads the all-time series against Pittsburgh 20-17.

Cardinals lead 22-16 in the second after a block by Anna DeBeer.

Louisville is on a 4-0 run after a solo block by Cara Cresse and has an 8-5 lead to start the second set.

The Panthers won the first set 25-23 on a kill from Torrey Stafford.

The Panthers held a 24-19 lead before the Cardinals scored four straight to cut the lead to one point.

Pittsburgh’s front row, led by Bre Kelly, was dominant to start the game. The Panthers have five blocks and a 20-15 lead.

Pittsburgh had a 14-9 lead and was on a 5-1 run before Cardinals Charitie Luper recorded her third kill of the match. That was followed by an attacking error by Panthers’ Ryla Jones.

Pittsburgh takes a 7-4 lead in the first set. Olivia Babcock leads the Panthers with four kills.
