A Donald Trump supporter claimed he was thrown off a Delta Air Lines flight for wearing a T-shirt featuring an image of the former president making obscene hand gestures and slogans referencing the viral “Hawk Tuah” girl, the New York Post reported.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning on a flight that was ready to take off from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in Florida. The crew received complaints from another passenger about the offensive images on the man’s T-shirt and asked the latter to change. The man turned the shirt inside out for a while.

“The next thing I know, just before takeoff, a Delta employee comes on board and escorts him off the plane. He had turned his shirt back to the side with the sticker on it,” one Reddit user wrote under the video posted on the platform, the New York Post reported.

The shirt featured an image of former President Donald Trump wearing glasses the color of the American flag, with text above and below it referencing a viral video of a girl explaining what oral sex entailed.

The video of the incident posted on Reddit has garnered over 900 upvotes and comments.

“I’m getting kicked out because of my shirt,” the man can be seen shouting as he is escorted off the plane. He also curses at a flight attendant.

While the reaction seemed extreme to many people on Reddit, the airline had every right to remove the passenger from the plane. Delta Air Lines’ policy states that passengers can be removed if their “conduct, hygiene, dress or odor creates an unreasonable risk of offense or annoyance to other passengers,” according to the New York Post report.
