BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – We’re grateful for our veterans all year round, but Veterans Day is always a chance to greet them by showing some extra love. Here are some businesses in central Alabama offering discounts and freebies for Veterans Day on November 11.

Frothy monkey

Veterans receive a 10% discount on dine-in and take-out purchases.

Birmingham Zoo

All veterans, active and retired military personnel, including their dependents (maximum of six), receive free admission.

The American Village

American Village offers free admission to everyone on Monday, November 11. They are open from 10am to 4pm

Taziki’s Mediterranean cafe

Veterans can get a free grilled chicken gyro meal at dinner only. Taziki’s will donate $1 to the Wounded Warrior Project for every gyro sold.
