Frozen waffles sold at major retailers in the US and Canada are being recalled due to possible listeria contamination.

The waffles were sold under various brands at retailers such as Walmart, Target and Aldi.

The supplier, TreeHouse Foods, issued the voluntary recall after routine testing identified possible listeria contamination at the manufacturing facility. This is the second recall in the past two months involving the Kodiak Cakes brand, which was previously recalled from Costco in early September.

Both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Canada’s food recall regulatory agency are aware of the situation.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with consuming the waffles.

Consumers who have these products in their freezers should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
