The Liberty defeated the Minnesota Lynx in overtime 67-62 on Sunday in the decisive Game 5 of the WNBA Finals. WNBA Finals MVP Jonquel Jones had 17 points as the Liberty earned its third win and captured the title.

Here are ways you can tell.

“This championship isn’t just for us and New York City – it’s for all Liberty Loyals and our Brooklyn community! We are honored to celebrate at the iconic Canyon of Heroes, as well as gather with our passionate fans at our home in Brooklyn,” said Keia Clarke, CEO of New York Liberty. “The community in the area has embraced us wholeheartedly since we started playing at Barclays Center and we want to share this moment with them.”

  • The parade will depart from Battery Park at 10 a.m. and head north along Broadway to City Hall through the Canyon of Heroes.
  • A ceremony will follow at 12:00 at the town hall in honor of Freedom.
  • The team will also host a celebration with fans at Barclays Center in Brooklyn at 7 p.m

Fans can click HERE for additional details about the celebration, including how to claim tickets for both the City Hall and Barclays Center ceremonies.

Championship merchandise will also be available for purchase HERE and at the team’s store at Barclays Center, Brooklyn Fanatics.

The parade is open and free to all fans, but those wishing to attend the championship ceremony at City Hall and the fan party at Barclays Center must purchase tickets.
