    The Michigan State Spartans head to the Northwest to take on one of the Big Ten’s newest teams, the No. 6 Oregon Ducks, today at 9 p.m. on Fox.

    MSU head coach Jonathan Smith returns to Oregon State to face a familiar foe. Smith previously coached for Oregon State for six seasons (2018-23) and was a four-year starting quarterback for the Beavers from 1998-2001.

    The Spartans face the Ducks for the first time since 2018, where Oregon earned a 7-6 victory over MSU in the Redbox Bowl. Michigan State will look to earn its first win over Oregon since 2015 at Spartan Stadium.
