The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and Sportradar’s Synergy Sports have extended their official partnership for the next five years, until the end of 2028. The partnership will provide coaching and scouting services via industry-leading technology and camera systems at select locations for designated WBSC events, enriching the WBSC product on and off the field.

“We are excited to continue working with Synergy Sports in our quest to advance the development of baseball and softball globally and remain at the forefront of technology applied to sports,” said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari. “Under this new agreement, the benefits of this fruitful working relationship with Synergy Sports can be enjoyed by the entire sports family.”

The WBSC and Synergy Sports have been partners since announcing their initial four-year agreement in 2021. During that time, the partnership has expanded to include WBSC Continental Associations including a WBSC Europe partnership announced in 2022.

Synergy Sports’ technology dissects and analyzes every player, every play, every appearance, every game situation, and every outcome. It then sorts through those details and pairs them with supporting video to support and facilitate the decision-making process for managers, coaches, and leaders in sports. Synergy Sports’ coaching and scouting products are currently in use in basketball, baseball, and softball.
