Barcelona manager Hansi Flick made it clear he was unhappy with his team after Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Celta, admitting his team “played a very bad game.”

According to multiple reports, Flick also did not take these words seriously to his players in the locker room as he criticized his team for their performance.

Diario AS reports that Flick is particularly unhappy with his team’s lack of intensity and effort, as well as the number of mistakes made.

“We can’t go on like this any longer! It’s not just for five or ten minutes, it’s been the whole game. We can’t go out and only give 80%. It’s unacceptable. What I saw couldn’t be true. But rest assured it won’t happen again, whatever the cost,” he said.

“You can’t make that many mistakes, you can’t make that many bad decisions, you can’t make that many mistakes… We all know where we failed and what we didn’t do well.

“I can allow ourselves to lose because these things happen, even to draw, but not like this. I won’t tolerate this kind of mistake anymore. If we have to train twice as hard, we will do that. But rest assured: we will play as a team again. If we were able to do it for three months, we’ll do it again.”

Barcelona have now gone two games without a win and next take on Brest in the Champion League, with Flick determined to get his team back on track quickly.
