Weather forecast for Monday in Northeast Ohio: Showers and thunderstorms

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Showers and thunderstorms are likely across Northeast Ohio Monday morning, but a break may occur in the afternoon. According to the National Weather Service, there is an 80% chance of showers before 1 p.m. It will be cool, with highs staying in the low to mid 50s. Expect showers to increase again tonight and temperatures to drop into the low to mid 40s.

There is a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, with temperatures once again staying in the 50s. Rain will likely continue Wednesday and temperatures will once again reach the low 50s. Skies should clear on Thursday and temperatures will rise back into the upper 50s. That’s the start of a string of sunny days that should last through the weekend. There is also a warming trend ahead and highs will be in the upper 60s both Saturday and Sunday.

The Cleveland region will lose two minutes and 40 seconds of daylight on Monday.
