CHICAGO – There will be light drizzle on Thursday evening and clouds will linger all night. Low temperatures will only drop a few degrees tonight, with most areas cooling into the upper 40s.

Friday will be mild with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 50s. A little more sunshine is expected on Saturday, with partly sunny skies and highs in the low 50s.

There is a small chance of a few showers from Saturday night to Sunday, but most areas will remain dry. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching the low 60s.

A more active weather pattern is planned for next week. Showers are possible again from Monday evening to Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 50s on Monday and lower 60s on Tuesday.

Cooler air will move in by mid-week, with highs returning to the 50s on Wednesday and the 40s on Thursday. We’ll look for the possibility of the season’s first snowflakes late next week.
