We’re flying into the 70s with a warm, windy week ahead in Metro Detroit

Record high temperatures are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.

4Warn again – It’s a seasonally cool Monday morning. Dry and mild to start the week, followed by a wave of warmth mid-week.

Partly sunny today with highs in the low 60s. However, bigger changes are coming in the coming days.

Sunset is at 6:31 PM

There is a chance of showers tonight through Tuesday morning. There is a small chance of a thunderstorm. Otherwise, gusts of wind will develop on Tuesday and Wednesday that will bring temperatures to record highs. Projected highs are in the upper 70s. Wind gusts of more than 30 km per hour can sometimes occur on Tuesday and Wednesday. Another rain shower will arrive on Thursday morning, after which temperatures will be closer to normal on Friday. The Halloween forecast looks to be both a trick and a treat with above average highs either side of 70, but combined with rain showers and windy conditions…hold on to those witches hats!

This is the last week of the year with sunsets after 6pm! Don’t forget to turn your clock back on Saturday evening before you go to bed, as daylight saving time ends on Sunday at 2 a.m.
