What supercar was Tyreek Hill driving when he was pulled over on the street? Watch

Just hours before his first Miami Dolphins game of the season on Sunday, Tyreek Hill was pulled over by Miami-Dade police for a traffic incident just a block from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The wide receiver was seen on video lying facedown on the ground, handcuffed, as four officers stood over him.

The scene plays out with Hill’s fancy, dark car – with the butterfly door up – in the background.

So what kind of supercar did “Cheetah” drive?

Matt Cruz, owner of MVP Miami car rental, confirmed to the Miami Herald that the wheels were a McLaren 720S. It’s unclear whether the 30-year-old wide receiver owns or is renting the beauty, which could cost around $350,000.

But in an earlier video that went viral, he is seen trying to jump over a similar-looking model.

Cruz saw Sunday’s video and agreed that the McLaren is an attention-grabber, not a “subtle bow.”

“It’s very big and very impressive with a big wow factor,” he said. “You can’t ignore it.”

According to the British carmaker, the “apex predator” can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest on the road. It can reach a top speed of around 212 mph.

You can also hear this sleek coupe coming from quite a distance, as evidenced by the version Drake used in the music video for his 2023 song “Another Late Night.”

“It’s got a pretty loud engine,” said Cruz, who rents the lean, mean machine for about $1,200 a day. “It can be loud.”

Hill was reportedly pulled over for speeding, but told reporters after the game he had “no idea” why the situation escalated.

Miami-Dade police are investigating the traffic stop. One of the four officers involved has been assigned to administrative duties.
