The Penguin marks the anticipated return of Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (aka “The Penguin”), continuing the epic Matt Reeves crime saga that began with Warner Bros. Pictures’ worldwide blockbuster The Batman (2022). According to the official logline, the series will focus on the character Farrell played in the film.

In The BatmanFans will recall that Robert Pattinson’s Batman encounters Oz Cobb (The Penguin) twice: first during a raid on Oz’s nightclub, the Iceberg Lounge, and later in a high-speed chase through Gotham. Ultimately, The Dark Knight stops the Riddler, who had set off timed explosions that breached Gotham’s seawall and flooded the city. The Penguin continues a week later, showing Gotham in a state of chaos.

The Penguin is available to stream on Max. To watch, you’ll need to sign up for a subscription to the Warner Bros. streaming service.
