What’s the Mega Millions Jackpot Today? Mega Millions Jackpot Grows to $740M After No Winner Tuesday

NEW YORK — The Mega Millions jackpot has grown to $740 million after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night.

These are Tuesday’s winning numbers: the white balls 12, 41, 43, 52 and 55, plus the golden Mega Ball 9.

If the jackpot is won on Friday, it will be the seventh-largest jackpot in the game’s history.

The jackpot has grown since someone won $552 million in Illinois on June 4.

In the 26 drawings in this jackpot run so far, there have been more than 19 million winning tickets in all non-jackpot prize categories. These include 51 second prize categories of $1 million or more, including tickets sold in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

According to Mega Millions, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington, DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 for a single play.
