The pads are popping out, meaning the 2024 NFL season is almost here.

This year, Week 1 kicks off on Thursday Night Football on NBC, followed by an international game in Brazil.

When does the NFL season start?

The season kicks off on Thursday Night Football on September 5, when the Baltimore Ravens travel to Kansas City to take on the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs. Kickoff is at 8:20 p.m. ET.

The next game is on Friday, September 6, when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Green Bay Packers at the Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET. It is the first NFL game in South America.

The game will be broadcast live on NBC. It can also be streamed on NFL+, the league’s exclusive video streaming subscription service.

In the Philadelphia area, the game will be broadcast live on NBC10.

The game will stream exclusively on NBC Universal’s Peacock with Noah Eagle providing play-by-play, Todd Blackledge providing analysis and Kaylee Hartung reporting from the sidelines. Fans outside the Philadelphia market can also stream the game on NFL+.

The match will also be broadcast on SportsRadio 94WIP.

Eagles fans can also head to Lincoln Financial Field in South Philly for the Eagles Official Season Kickoff Party, the team said. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30.
