It’s been three weeks now Matlock‘s debut episode for the 2024 season premiered and we still haven’t seen the second episode of the series Kathy Bates-star.

Now we reveal why season 1, episode 2 won’t air until October 17.

If you didn’t see it, many believed that the series would just be a reboot of the original TV show Matlockwhich aired in the late 1980s and early 1990s. However, a big twist at the end of the premiere episode confirmed that the series actually has a completely different, clandestine premise!

Due to CBS’ decision to give fans an early sneak peek at the series’ debut episode, you won’t see episode two until CBS’s official “premiere week,” which kicks off this week.

Now, episode 2 will air next Thursday, and new episodes will continue in that timeslot in the future.
