    As usual, the Celtics will receive their rings tonight before playing a season opener against the New York Knicks.

    This evening marks the first NBA championship ring for NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and most other current Celtics players besides Jrue Holiday, who earned his first NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021.

    The Celtics will raise their 18th flag before the game, cementing the reality that Boston is the franchise with the most NBA championships, beating the Los Angeles Lakers with their NBA Finals victory last summer.
