Where to Watch Colorado vs. Nebraska on Big Ten Saturday Night

The American football season has officially started after an exciting first week. The games are only going to get more interesting from here.

This week on Big Ten Saturday Night on NBC and Peacock, we have the latest installment of one of college football’s longest-running rivalries, and while the teams may be in different conferences at the moment, the power of the matchup is still historic. Both teams have something to prove, both are trying to make their mark in conferences dominated by larger football powers, and both are eager to claim victory in the latest installment of a matchup that has already been played out half a dozen times in more than a century of football history.

So to prepare you for Big Ten Saturday Night This week let’s take a look at Colorado vs. Nebraska.

What time is kickoff for the Colorado vs. Nebraska game?

The Big 12’s Colorado Buffaloes and the Big Ten’s Nebraska Cornhuskers kick off Saturday, September 7 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern/6:30 p.m. Central from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. It’s the second primetime showdown Big Ten Saturday Night will host this year, following last Saturday’s Fresno State vs. Michigan game.

Where can you watch the Colorado vs. Nebraska American football game?

Like all Big Ten Saturday Night games, the Buffs and the Huskers will be broadcast live on NBCand will be streaming simultaneously on Peacock. So whether you’re watching from your couch or checking your phone on the go, you can catch all the action.

What can you expect from the Colorado Buffaloes vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers game?

As we’ve said before, this is one of the oldest and most storied rivalries in American football, dating back to 1898 and still going strong even as the teams have switched conferences and risen and fallen in the standings over the decades. Colorado won the most recent game last September, but this time around it’s on the Huskers’ home field, so don’t be surprised if Nebraska puts up an even bigger fight this time around.

The Huskers are the slight favorites in the game right now, and not just because it’s being played in Lincoln. Both teams won their season openers last week, but while Colorado narrowly escaped a showdown with FCS team North Dakota State, Nebraska defeated Conference USA team UTEP 40-7. That performance, home-field advantage and a Huskers team hungry to prove it can compete with the Big Ten contenders all mean that Nebraska appears to have the upper hand.

But there’s one thing you can never do: write off Colorado, especially with Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders at the helm. Sanders, now in his second season as head coach of the Buffaloes, has retained his flashy talents from last year, including his own son Shedeur at quarterback and the ultra-dynamic Travis Hunter at wide receiver. It’s been a bumpy road, but Colorado in the Prime era has always been exciting and they’re capable of real power when they get it together. Nebraska may have the edge, but the Buffs are going to give it everything they’ve got to try to repeat last year’s win, hoping to carry the momentum into a tough conference season that will see them return to the Big 12.
