Where to watch live Election Day 2024 coverage: Channels, show information

Election Day has arrived as voters head to the polls on Tuesday, November 5 to cast their ballots in the race for the White House, which will feature former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris among many other state and local races are.

How to watch election coverage on TV

  • NBC: NBC News’ major anchors will provide 24 hours of continuous live coverage to viewers on their local NBC stations for the first time ever, starting at 5 p.m. ET on Election Day, according to the network. NBC News NOW offers live programming for more than 40 hours, starting at 7:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday and continuing late into Wednesday evening.
  • CNN: Beginning at 4 p.m. ET on Election Day, “Election Night in America” ​​will be anchored by Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper, who the network says will be joined by Dana Bash, Erin Burnett, Audie Cornish and Chris Wallace, with John King joining the “Magic Wall” that cuts election results from public view while ballots are counted across the country.
  • Fox News: Starting at 6 p.m. ET on Election Day, Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum will co-host “FOX News Democracy 2024” as election results come in, the network announced. Bill Hemmer, co-host of “America’s Newsroom,” will hold the “Bill: board” and provide viewers with “county and state-by-state election data” throughout the evening, the network said.
  • NewsNation: On Election Day, Newsnation will present “NewsNation Decision Desk 2024,” co-hosted by Chris Cuomo, Elizabeth Vargas and Leland Vittert from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET, the network announced. The CW Network will simulcast NewsNation’s election night coverage from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM ET.
  • ABC News: Beginning at 7 p.m. ET on Election Day, “World News Tonight” host and editor-in-chief David Muir will lead the network’s coverage, ABC News said in a news release. Muir is joined by Linsey Davis, Martha Raddatz, Jonathan Karl and Mary Bruce, among others.
  • CBS News: Primetime election coverage on CBS and CBS News 24/7 begins at 7 p.m. ET on Election Day, according to the network by Norah O’Donnell of CBS News election headquarters in New York City. O’Donnell is joined at the anchor desk by Margaret Brennan, John Dickerson, Gayle King, Cecilia Vega, Robert Costa and Ed O’Keefe.
  • MSNBC: Beginning at 6 p.m. ET on Election Day, Rachel Maddow will lead MSNBC’s special primetime election coverage live from MSNBC headquarters in New York City, the network announced. Maddow will be joined by Nicolle Wallace, Ari Melber, Joy Reid, Chris Hayes, Alex Wagner, Lawrence O’Donnell, Stephanie Rhule and Jen Psaki, according to the network, and Steve Kornacki will be present on the “Big Board” reporting the latest results by state.
