Where veterans can get discounts in Milwaukee

Many places in Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs are honoring those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces with a variety of Veterans Day offerings on Monday, November 11.

All places require proof of service unless otherwise noted, so be sure to have military ID with you.

Here are 10 places in the Milwaukee area offering some freebies, discounts or other Veterans Day deals:

7Brouw

All 7Brew locations nationwide are offering veterans 25% off any drink. 7Brew has two locations near Milwaukee in Brookfield and Mt. Pleasant.

From Applebee’s

Veterans can stop by Applebee’s on Monday for a free meal. The national chain allows anyone who shows proof of service to choose between the classic bacon cheeseburger, 150 gram sirloin steak, chicken casserole, double crunch shrimp, fiesta lime chicken, oriental chicken salad or chicken ne with three cheeses. You’ll also receive a $5 bounceback card, which you can use within three weeks.

Participating locations include Applebee’s Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Delafield, Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek and West Allis.

Benson’s Restaurant Group

All veterans and active duty service members can receive a 25% discount at any of Benson’s Restaurant Group’s six restaurants. The restaurants are:

  • AJ Bombers, at 1247 N. Water St.
  • Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, at 249 N. Water St.
  • The Bridgewater Modern Grill, at 2011 S. 1st St.
  • The Edison, at 322 N. Broadway
  • Onesto, at 221 N. Broadway
  • Smoke Shack, at 332 N. Milwaukee St.

Benson’s Restaurant Group locations will also donate proceeds from orders of select menu items to Milwaukee’s Stars and Stripes Honors Flight.

Chilis

Chili’s is offering a free meal to veterans and active military personnel. The Veterans Day deal applies to specific menu items and is only available at the restaurant. Chili’s has multiple locations in Milwaukee and surrounding suburbs, including Franklin, Germantown and Waukesha.

Colectivo coffee

Service members past and present can get a free medium brew coffee at Colectivo on Veterans Day, a spokesperson confirmed to the Journal Sentinel. No military ID is required to be presented.

Cousins ​​Subs

All veterans and active duty members can get a free 7.5-inch sub at any Cousins ​​Subs location on Monday. The Wisconsin-based chain has multiple locations in Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs.

Harley Davidson Museum

The Harley Davidson Museum is offering free admission to veterans, active military personnel and their families all weekend, November 9-11. The Harley-Davidson Museum and Motor Bar and Restaurant is located at 400 W. Canal St.

Motorcycle bar and restaurant

Motor Bar and Restaurant, affiliated with the Harley-Davidson Museum, is offering one free meal (up to $14.95) with the purchase of a drink on Veterans Day.

Scooter coffee

Scooter’s Coffee honors veterans and active duty service members with a free medium drink on Veterans Day. The offering includes all drinks on the menu, including the coffee chain’s new holiday menu and limited-edition drinks.

Veterans and active duty service members can get a free tall coffee at Starbucks on Veterans Day. The offer applies to hot or iced drinks.
