Who did ESPN College GameDay pick in the Penn State-Ohio State game?

You know it’s a big game when ESPN’s traveling roadshow makes a stop on your campus. With Penn State hosting Ohio State in a top-five Big Ten matchup, ESPN College GameDay’s destination this week was pretty obvious. It’s always fun when GameDay hosts its show outside of Beaver Stadium, and this week they weren’t the only ones! Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff put on its pregame show on the other side of the Bryce Jordan Center, making for a big showcase outside the football stadium.

Desmond Howard kicked things off by taking Ohio State, which has to hurt for the former Michigan Wolverine. Kirk Herbstreit also sided with the Buckeyes, which was perhaps to be expected.

Pat McAfee, who also did his radio show from the Penn State campus on Friday, played for the home crowd in taking the Nittany Lions over the Buckeyes.

Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban, making his first visit to State College since coaching the Crimson Tide against Penn State in 2011, chose the Nittany Lions.

ESPN brought in noted Penn State alum and fan Keegan Michael-Key as this week’s celebrity guest picker, so you know which way he would go with his pick in today’s game against the Buckeyes. He didn’t disappoint by taking Penn State

Lee Corso closed out the weekly picks segment by donning the mascot head of Brutus, the mascot of the state of Ohio. Corso has carried the head of the Ohio State mascot in the past, and he did so today with a “not so fast” for Michael-Key.

How will these choices hold up? We’re going to find out!
